How to make Baal Aadhaar
After the birth of the child, the parents have to go to the Aadhaar Seva Kendra and get a child Aadhaar card made. They also have to keep the child’s birth certificate or the discharge slip of the mother and child after birth in a government hospital. Along with this, a copy of the Aadhaar card of either one or both the parents of the child has to be attached.
How to register for Baal Aadhaar
First of all, go to the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. There you will get the application for Bal Aadhaar Card. Fill that application form and attach the photocopy of the parents’ Aadhaar card and the child’s birth certificate. Keep in mind that the parents’ Aadhaar card information and mobile number must be entered in the application form. After the verification process is completed, the child’s photo will be taken there. Just after this, a message of Aadhaar card being made will come on the given mobile number.
How to update biometrics when the child grows up?
To update biometric information in Baal Aadhaar, one needs to book an appointment. After this, one needs to visit the Aadhaar centre with all the necessary documents. The child’s biometric data will be taken at the Aadhaar centre, after which this data is included in the child’s Aadhaar card.
Is there any charge for biometric update?
There is no charge for updating biometrics for children if it is done on time. Biometrics such as fingerprint, iris and photo are free if updated once between the ages of 5 and 7. After this, if updated once between the ages of 15 and 17, it is also free. If done otherwise, there is a charge of Rs 100 for it.
