England Innings:
Batting first, England’s openers Salt 30 (27) and Alex Hales 26 (21) gave a relatively good start. Next David Malan became the Golden Duck. Then Duckett 43 (22), Harry Brooks 31 (19), Moeen Ali 55 (23) played actively and were involved in accumulating runs. Thus, the England team accumulated 199/5 runs at the end of 20 overs.
Pakistan Innings:
The openers Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam were on the field till the end in the Pakistan team chasing the target. England could not lose a single wicket.
Mohammad Rizwan scored 88 runs off 51 balls including 5 fours and 4 sixes. Babar Azam scored 110 runs off 66 balls including 11 fours and 5 sixes to complete his second century in T20 cricket. Pakistan scored 203/0 in 19.3 overs and won by 10 wickets.
This is the second time Pakistan have won by 10 wickets. It is noteworthy that they had won the last T20 World Cup League against the Indian team by 10 wickets.
