The Caja Rural achieved this Sunday the victory it was looking for in the Tour of Portugal thanks to the explosiveness of Daniel Babor in the steep arrival of Castelo Branco. The Czech left Andoni López de Abetxuko and Euskaltel-Euskadi with honey on their lips.

Unai Iribar from Ibartar was the protagonist of the day’s escape. Today the fifth stage takes place, the first decisive one for the men in the general classification with the arrival at Alto de Torre, a long climb of 20 kilometers at an average of 6.5%.
