From a young age, he used to climb small mountains. Kumpachi has climbed halfway up the mountain twice before. This time he reached the top but slipped and fell. He was unable to descend due to a leg injury sustained in the fall. At the foot of the hill, rescue workers, including police and firefighters, were spotted. So there was hope of escape. Drinking water was not available on hand while climbing the mountain.
Babu said the Army Regiment, which rescued him from the gorge, still wanted to see Balakrishnan and join the Army and thanked all those who had come to the rescue. I love traveling. This time he climbed the mountain without permission. Babu, however, said that he would only go with the permission of the authorities and that no one should engage in such activities without permission.
Hundreds of locals and friends had come to the hospital to receive Babu, who left the hospital at around 10.30 am yesterday. Collector Mrinmayi Joshi, District Police Chief R. Dr. Viswanath, District Medical Officer; K.P. Rita, District Hospital Superintendent – TP Sridevi and the doctors who treated Babu, N. Sona, Krishnadas, Abhijit, Dinshad, Dileep and Rajesh came to witness Babu’s journey home.
When Babu returned home, locals and relatives came to inquire about him. Some offered financial assistance and job offers.
