Babu, however, said that he would only go with the permission of the authorities and that no one should engage in such activities without permission.
Hundreds of locals and friends had come to the hospital to receive Babu, who left the hospital at around 10.30 am yesterday. Collector Mrinmayi Joshi, District Police Chief R. Dr. Viswanath, District Medical Officer; K.P. Rita, District Hospital Superintendent – TP Sridevi and the doctors who treated Babu, N. Sona, Krishnadas, Abhijit, Dinshad, Dileep and Rajesh came to witness Babu’s journey home.
When Babu returned home, locals and relatives came to inquire about him. Some offered financial assistance and job offers.
