Babur Assam, Imam ul Haq Fifty ..! Pakistan set a challenging target for the West Indies

The West Indies are touring Pakistan. Pakistan won the first match of the three-match ODI series and the second ODI is being played in Multan today.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan team:

Faqir Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babur Assam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan (wicket-keeper), Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Harris, Shatab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Harris Raf, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Shaheen Afridi.

West Indies team:

Shay Hope (wicket-keeper), Kyle Myers, Shamar Brooks, Nicholas Pooran (captain), Brendon King, Rowman Powell, Romero Shepherd, Achilles Hussain, Ulzari Joseph, Anderson Philip, Hayden Walsh.

Pakistan opener Faqir Zaman was bowled out for 17, followed by another opener Imam-ul-Haq and captain Babur Assam. Both scored fifties.

Imam-ul-Haq and Babur Assam combined for 120 for the second wicket. Imam ul Haq scored 72 and Babur Assam 77. After that the other players were bowled out for short runs, with Shatab Khan and Khushdil Shah both scoring 22 runs each in the back row. Shaheen Afridi hit 15 off 6 balls with 3 fours, 275 off 50 overs and set a challenging target of 276 for the West Indies.
