Baby girl seriously injured, mother: “It was a deliberate accident”

A two-year-old girl was fatally injured in a car accident that occurred on Route 60 near Ofra, and was taken to the hospital suffering from a head injury. The mother, who was slightly injured, claimed that it was an intentional accident when the Palestinian driver collided with her vehicle
A mother and her daughter were injured tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) in an accident that occurred on Route 60 near Ofra, when a Palestinian vehicle hit an Israeli car. The driver of the Palestinian vehicle was killed on the spot, while the injured were transferred to Shaare Zedek Hospital, with the mother in a minor condition and her two-year-old daughter in a serious and unstable condition with a head injury.
MDA paramedic Lior Shasha and MDA senior medic Ashraf Jat said: “We were driving on Route 60 when we saw 2 overturned vehicles and smoke coming from them. We realized that the accident was a fire, we reported the incident to Moked and sent additional forces. The driver of the Palestinian vehicle was unconscious, without a pulse And without breathing, and after CPR on the ground, we had to determine his death. A two-year-old toddler and a 40-year-old woman were rescued from the other vehicle with the help of passers-by. We put them in an intensive care unit and evacuated them to the hospital while receiving medical treatment.
Following the incident, the family members asked the public to pray for the healing of the injured baby girl, Hadar Nega daughter of Adit Balha. Although the MDA teams said that it was a car accident, the family claimed that it was an intentional accident – when the Palestinian driver deviated from the lane and collided with her vehicle while driving.
“When she returned from the hospital (because she opened her head) to her house on Route 60, a brutal terrorist entered her car,” claimed the family. “Adit’s mother tried to avoid him, she didn’t succeed, she says he looked her in the eyes, until he managed to get into her car. Hadar is in critical condition, sedated and on ventilators. Adit (a doula by profession who helps many women) broke her ribs. At her sister’s request, please talk to God.”
