The twelve episodes of the fourth season of “Babylon Berlin” will start on October 1, 2023 on ARD. Until now, the new episodes could only be seen in full by subscribers to the streaming channels Sky and WOW.

Episode 11 and 12: Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from around 10 p.m

Director Tom Tykwer (58) has already produced three successful seasons of “Babylon Berlin” with the broadcasters ARD and Sky in the past. Then the waiting began. Because the production of the mammoth project requires a lot of money and time. But then, with season four, a new, exciting crime adventure about Detective Inspector Gereon Rath was created.

The fourth season of “Babylon Berlin” is based on the book “Goldstein” by Volker Kutscher, who created the crime cycle about Gereon Rath. It leads to the time of the global economic crisis of 1930/1931, in which the fights between the political parties became increasingly violent.
