jpnn.com – NINGBO – All the best players in the Yellow Continent will compete to be the best at the Badminton Asia Championships or BAC 2024, which will be held from today (Tuesday, 9/4) to Sunday (14/4) at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Ningbo, China.
Like it or not, the top players in Asia appear in Ningbo in order to become champions and also ensure tickets to the 2024 Olympics.
“The 2024 Badminton Asia Championship will attract global attention because it will also serve as the final qualifying event for Asian players looking for points to help them secure a place in the Paris sports extravaganza (Olympics) in July,” reads a review on the Badminton Asia page.
BAC 2024 today will present a qualifying phase.
The main round, Top 32, will start on Wednesday (10/4).
Last year when it was held in Dubai, BAC produced champions, namely Indonesian men’s singles Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Taiwanese women’s singles Tai Tzu Ying, Indian men’s doubles Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty, Japanese women’s doubles Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota, and mixed doubles China Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin.
