Buenos Aires: 6,000 fans were detained in the country without permission to cheer on the Qatar fields where Messi and his team will return with the cup. The local government of Buenos Aires announced that they were looking for people who had caused a bad name or problems due to severe attacks and were prevented from boarding the plane without permission.

Marcelo D’Alessandro, Minister of Justice and Security in the city, said that the action is part of bringing peace to football. He informed that like other World Cup venues, the Argentine police force will also be present at the venues to ensure peace with the Qatari police.

An agreement was reached between Argentina and Qatar last June to ban gangs. The action is a continuation of this. Out of the 6,000 people who were banned, 3,000 people are not allowed to be in the gallery in the national tournaments.
