The Mai Jianfeng-Qu Zimo pair is the gold medal winning duo at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games held in 2021.
The Maizenfung-Chuizimo pair persistently sent the shuttlecock towards Jeong Jae-gun. They took advantage of Yoo Su-young’s higher disability level and the fact that he had lost physical strength and concentration due to playing singles matches during the day.
Jeong Jae-gun repeatedly withstood the opponent’s attacks, but there were often times when the shuttlecock ended up in the net after a long rally.
The pair of Jeong Jae-gun and Yoo Su-young worked together in doubles two years ago, but broke up due to poor results.
However, ahead of this Paralympic Games, we started to work together again, and as we started to see results in international competitions, we came all the way to Paris.
