The Sprint Race has not disappointed again this Saturday in Mugello. It has been full of action at all levels: Bagnaia has once again been crowned leader at home, with a Bezzecchi who has tried to hunt down his compatriot and chased by two other Ducati, and Marc Márquez who has been forced to disappear to 7th place after contact with Jack Miller. There have also been falls.

The output was conservative. Bagnaia kept the first place; Márquez did the same with the second position. Jorge Martín and Jack Miller also starred in an exuberant exit. At the end of the first lap it was Martín who hacked at Márquez on the main straight.

Luca Marini also starred in a good start and had Márquez between his eyebrows. The one who had very bad luck was Álex Márquez, who went to the ground after a touch with Binder; the South African was sentenced to a ‘Long Lap Penalty’. Álex Rins also fell and was transferred to the medical center.

two laps and the first drops began to fall on the track; white flag to give the riders the option to enter to change the bikes. No one would attack her, as a few minutes later they began to subside. Meanwhile Jorge Martín flew like a plane and also won first place over Bagnaia.

The leading group put up a lot of fight in the first few laps. The race was hectic, and we were only on the third lap when Jack Miller was trying to pass Márquez. He made the mistake of brushing against him with the bike, causing him to lose positions. With Márquez behind (7th place), the fight was between the Ducatis: in the middle of the race Bagnaia was 1st, Bezzecchi 2nd, Martín 3rd and Zarco, 4th.

The ‘Ducati Cup’ was even more evident as the laps went by. In the middle of the race they already opened a gap. and towards the end they all kept their positions traced. Bezzecchi (2nd) could not catch up with Bagnaia (1st), and Zarco (4th) could not steal the podium position from Martín (3rd), who suffered a lot in the last two corners of the Italian track.

So things in the front, the end of the race Marc was relegated to the second group with Marini and Miller. Traced to the first group, all remained in the same positions until the arrival of the last lap, with no option to reply: Marini 5th, Miller 6th and Marc Márquez, 7th. The top 10 were closed by Aleix Espargaró, Enea Bastianini and Fabio Quartararo.

This leaves the general classification red hot: Bagnaia (106 points) is a little more leader than Bezzecchi, 2nd with 102 points. Close behind, is Jorge Martín with 87 points, and Binder is already 4th with 81.
