Manama: Preparations are well underway for the sixth Bahrain International Air Show. The show airs at Zakheer Airbase from November 9 to 11. Kamal Ahmed, Minister of Transport and Telecommunications and Vice-Chairman of the Air Show Organizing Committee, said that all the world’s leading companies in the field of aviation and defense will be participating in the exhibition. Airbus, Boeing, US Gulfstream, British BA Systems, Lockheed Martin, Italian Leonarda, Rolls Royce, French Tails, Bell Helicopter and CFM International are some of the prominent participants in the exhibition.

These companies control 80% of the global market. Leading companies in the Gulf region include Gulf Air, Etihad, Saudi Airlines, Emirates, Arabia Air, Alsalam Air, Aramco, Oxford Aviation, DHL, FedEx, UAE Space Agency, Saudi Space Agency and Tawasun Economic Council. .

Turkish aviation and defense companies such as Atokar Amerd Vehicle Industry Company, Turkish Aerospace Industry Company, Rockston Missile Industry Company and many other companies in the Gulf and internationally are participating in the exhibition. International aerobatic teams will also take part in the air show, which will feature around 130 civilian and military aircraft.

Various forums will also be organized in connection with the exhibition.

Entertainment programs and food trucks for families and children are being prepared as part of the exhibition. The biennial exhibition was last held in 2018. The 2020 show was canceled due to Kovid 19.
