Manama: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen won the nineteenth race of the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix. Red Bull’s Sergio Perez finished second while Aston Martin team driver Fernando Alenzo had to settle for third.
This time, 99,500 sports fans reached the circuit over three days to watch the 19th Bahrain Grand Prix. This is the first time in the history of Bahrain that such a crowd has reached. The Bahraini authorities have expressed their gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the Formula One Grand Prix in Bahrain. The Formula One Grand Prix is instrumental in raising the country’s reputation on the world map. Bahrain’s business community responded that the country’s tourism sector received a wake-up call when the Grand Prix was relaunched and hotel room bookings are increasing every year.
They estimate that by organizing Formula One, tourism, commerce, industry and many other sectors have directly and indirectly increased in the country. The organizers are also satisfied that Formula One has been organized flawlessly and received huge support from thousands of people. Organizers were also surprised when 36,000 people flocked to the Bahrain International Circuit on Sunday, the final day, to watch the final races of the Grand Prix. People shared more than expected in all three days. Heavy security was imposed in the circuit and across the country.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa visited the circuit and assessed the situation. Ministers and distinguished leaders from various countries came to watch the rally on the final day. King Hamad welcomed the rulers from various countries who came to watch Formula One on Sunday. They appreciated Bahrain’s organizational skills in organizing Formula One. Various hotels welcomed Formula One by arranging programs by famous musicians.
