The mayor of Balad district in Salah al-Din announced the success of the security, service and health plan for the visit to the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The district mayor, Haider Ismail, told the (INA): “The security, service and health plan for securing the Arbaeen pilgrimage and those visiting the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad (peace be upon him) has achieved its success with the full mobilization of the efforts of the relevant departments,” indicating that “the security services played a role in implementing the plan and protecting the visitors to the shrine, while securing the road and providing a safe environment for them.”
He added, “All types of security forces participated in all their types in protecting and receiving the visitors,” noting that “the number of processions reached more than 25 processions on the entrance road from Balad station to the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad (PBUH).”
He explained that “the number of visitors to Balad District has reached 100 to 125 thousand people daily over the past five days,” noting that “the district is still receiving visitors, especially those of Iranian nationality who have completed their visit to the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in the holy Karbala and have begun heading to Balad District and Samarra to visit the holy shrines.”
