Now that we are starting a new year, it is time to take stock of the activity that Dialnet has had in 2022.

During the year 2022, a total of 111,782 new users were registered on the platform, making Dialnet exceeds 2.4 million registered users.

In 2022, more than 32 million users accessed Dialnet, generating a total of 140.6 million page views.

Regarding the contribution of collaborating libraries, During 2022, a total of 522,068 document records have been indexeddistributed as follows:

  • 312,545 Magazine articles
  • 185,421 Chapters of collective books and congresses
  • 16,210 Books
  • 7,892 doctoral theses

As to Metricsduring the year 2022, from the libraries participating in the project, almost 2 million bibliographic references corresponding to 65,000 journal articles. As a novelty, this year two new thematic areas were added to the IDRwhich were Architecture y Nursing.

Throughout 2022, it should also be noted that a significant effort has been made to increase the quality of the database, enriching the records with value added data. The following figures serve as an example:

  • Financing data has been added to more than 60,000 records
  • Investigator affiliation data has been added to more than 150,000 records
  • Added more than 7,000 bookmarks linked to the books they reference.
  • Dialnet researchers have added 147,687 identifiers in other databases
