Ob at a girls’ weekend, bachelor party or family holiday – everyone gets their money’s worth in Ibiza. Why? Because the island is relaxed and happy, participates or offers almost everything. Hardly anywhere else could old and new hippies, the super rich and techno fans live so peacefully alongside and even with one another. We present a few island highlights for every taste.
For sun worshipers: the most beautiful beaches
Anyone who expects clear water with turquoise blue bays from a beach holiday will love Ibiza’s beaches. Around four kilometers from Ibiza Town is Playa d’en Bossa, lined with numerous bars and restaurants.
Many clubs invite you to chill out and sunbathe with comfortable loungers and umbrellas. There is a wide range of activities for active people, such as jet skis or banana boats, and those who want to get in the mood for a club evening can listen to the background music, with which the DJs ensure a relaxed atmosphere.

The situation is similar at Cala Comte, a 15-minute drive from San Antonio. From comfortable lounge beds, sunbathers can gaze at the offshore islands of Conillera and S’Espartar while sipping sangria.
There are numerous larger and smaller restaurants, so there is always something going on here. If that’s too much hustle and bustle for you, you can hike over the cliffs to the smaller beach at Cala Escondida. Nudist swimming is also possible there.

The bay of Cala Salada, which is popular with locals, is much quieter and is also about 15 minutes by car from San Antonio. It is framed by pine forested hills, the turquoise water lures for snorkeling. Those who like it more contemplative can drive to the beach of Es Niu Blau. Between Santa Eulalia and Es Caná lies the quiet, pine-lined beach, where you can take wonderful walks to the bay of Cala Martina.
For the sporty: paddling, diving, hiking and yoga
Ibiza has a number of local providers with programs for the more adventurous. With the special operator Sup Paradise, for example, you can book guided stand-up paddling tours to remote bays or through Ibiza’s cave landscape.

If you want to explore what lies beneath the clear surface of the water, book a diving course at Scuba Ibiza Diving Center near Ibiza Town. Special courses such as underwater photography or wreck diving are just as much on the program as acquiring a diving license.
Hikers can go on a guided hike with Ibiza Outdoors/Walking Ibiza to particularly beautiful stretches of coast, hidden beaches or to the lesser-known hinterland to the remains of Moorish settlements. There are also former hippie caves with imaginative paintings or bubbling springs to discover.

Wander-Gaby offers sunrise hikes in almost magical light on Facebook. In small groups, the Ibiza connoisseur guides her guests over hill and dale and, above all, to fantastic vantage points.
Morning yoga in Cala Sol Den Serra is quieter. The “Amante” restaurant offers yoga classes on the beach from nine in the morning on several days with the sound of the sea followed by a breakfast buffet.
For romantics: Places in Ibiza at sunset
Although it is the same game every evening, it never loses its appeal: the sunset over the sea and the blue hour before. Ibiza wouldn’t be Ibiza if there weren’t special locations for these special hours.
For example, the grandmother of all sunset bars, the “Café del Mar” in the bay of Caló des Moro, which has made San Antonio’s rocky coast the number 1 sunset spot with its special architecture and chilled-out atmosphere. If you want to take the relaxed feeling home with you, buy a CD and dream of returning to the island in the rush hour at home.

Superlative sunsets await visitors to Benirrás Beach. That explains the many yachts anchored in the bay. The farewell to the sun is accompanied by various drum sessions, which take place every day except Sundays.
Another “pillar” of Ibiza’s evening and nightlife is the “Café Mambo” on the Sunsetstrip of San Antonio. Enchanting sunsets are accompanied by the sounds conjured up by the DJs on their mixers. And so the cuddly magic could go on forever if the party didn’t really get going at some point. Because the “Café Mambo” sees itself as a sunset and pre-party location.
At the island’s landmark, the small rock Es Vedra, it is much quieter, especially when the sun sinks into the sea. The sight also leaves chatterboxes speechless for a short time.
For party people: celebrate in the clubs
There are said to be Ibiza visitors who never see the sun. They travel to the white isle for the world famous parties and DJs. The mother of all clubs is indisputably the “Pacha”. Passionate clubbers can comfortably lay their weary heads in the adjoining hotel in the hours before the next party. The parties start in the afternoon and usually end before midnight. Ideal for moving on to the next location.
Boat clubbing tours on the high seas are also popular. Most party boats depart from San Antonio and Playa d’en Bossa. They differ in music style and route, drinks are usually included.
Party friends can drive and celebrate in style on the catamaran of the Ibiza Boat Club. In addition to party trips, the organizer also offers trips to Formentera. Of course, alcohol and music will also be provided.
