Ban Ki-moon: sustained use of water is the key to sufficient food production

Food and Agriculture Organization / FAO / UN today hosted a celebratory event to mark World Water Day. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon sent a welcoming speech to the event, who said that the international community must ensure the progressive use of water resources to meet the food needs of the world’s rapidly growing population.
