Ban on the verse that says Kotse killed Gandhi in the movie Mahan: Director Karthik Supuraj Pakir

Chennai: Director Karthik Supuraj has said that the censor board has banned the verse which says that Godse was killed by Godse in the movie ‘Mahan’. It is released on ODD. Commenting on a verse in the film, director Karthik Supuraj said:
The verse is coming. Censor board officials were told to change the verse after seeing this. ‘It can be said that Gandhi was killed. The problem will come if we say that Godse killed Gandhi. ‘

This shocked me. There are people in this town who get angry when they are told that Godse killed Gandhi. To counter it, there is a mob to stir up trouble. This is a painful thing. That is why Mahan was forced to change the verse in the film. Thus said Karthik Supuraj.
