Banco BAI Europa breaks into the war to capture liabilities with its new 6-month deposits, which offer a return of 2.70 percent, and another 12-month deposit, which remunerates savings with 3.11 percent.
The contracting characteristics of both deposits are identical. They have a minimum investment of 10,000 euros and a maximum of 100,000 euros.
Interest is paid at maturity and early cancellation is not possible. Deposits are protected by the Portuguese Deposit Guarantee Fund up to 100,000 euros per customer and per bank.
