The board of directors of Banco Sabadell has agreed to pay a cash dividend against 2023 results of 0.03 euros per share, which represents an increase of 50% compared to the same payment made last year.
In this way, the entity will pay around 168.8 million euros on December 29.
It should be remembered that in December 2022, the bank distributed 0.02 gross euros per share charged to the results of that year, a cash dividend to which must be added another complementary dividend of 0.02 gross euros distributed at the end of last March. In this way, the bank gave a total cash payment, on account of 2022 results, of 0.04 euros.
Furthermore, as part of its shareholder remuneration policy, it is currently executing a share buyback of a maximum amount of 204 million euros. This program began at the beginning of July and the bank has already reached 88.8% execution.
