Band star and musician Shafin Ahmed is no more. He died at 6:50 am on Thursday (July 25) in a hospital in Virginia, USA. He was 63 years old.

His brother Hamin Ahmed confirmed the death to the media. He said that Shafin died due to a massive heart attack.

He also said that Shafin had a concert in Virginia on July 20. Shafin fell ill before the show. He canceled the show. He was admitted to the hospital that day. After that, when his various organs failed, he was taken on life support.

Hamin said that they have two cousins ​​in the United States. They are with Shafin for now. Hamin will soon leave Dhaka for America. After that, the body of this legendary singer of Bengali band will be returned to the country.

In 1979, Shafin Ahmed formed Dal Miles, one of the most popular bands in the history of Bangladesh. In 1982, Miles released his first album ‘Miles’ and in 1986, ‘Step Father’. After that, the first Bengali album ‘Pratishruti’ was released in 1991. The Chad-Tara song in this album became very popular.
