jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib coach Bojan Hodak complained about the condition of the Sidolig Field owned by the Bandung City Government (Pemkot).

He said that the field was not suitable and of poor quality for use by a professional team like Persib.

Responding to this, the Head of the Bandung City Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora), Eddy Marwoto, said that Hodak did not understand the condition of the Sidolig Field, which does not actually belong to PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB).

“So it’s not a complaint, it’s just ignorance,” said Eddy when contacted, Wednesday (17/7/2024).

Eddy explained that because the field belongs to the Bandung City Government, its use is not always intended for Persib.

However, in the past year, this field has been used the most by the team that is the pride of the people of West Java.

With the field being used almost every day, there must be improvements in condition so that it remains optimal when used by the football team.

“Indeed, Sidolig Stadium is currently undergoing maintenance because it was often used for training by the Persib team during the previous League 1, so it needs good maintenance (repairs),” he said.

Bandung Dispora explained the quality of the grass at Sidolig Field which was complained about by Persib coach Bojan Hodak.
