jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The prospective candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana, met with the former Governor of DKI Jakarta, Sutiyoso or Bang Yos.
The meeting was held at Bang Yos’ residence, on Jalan Raya Kalimanggis, Jatikarya Village, Jatisampurna District, Bekasi, West Java, Tuesday (17/9).
In the meeting, Bang Yos provided input and shared experiences with Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana who are running for the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election as an independent candidate.
“Sharing experiences during leading Jakarta for two terms (1997-2002 and 2002-2007),” said Bang Yos, after the meeting.
Bang Yos said that each region and province certainly has differences, so they need a governor who has a different leadership style.
“Of course I have already conveyed that experience to both of them. Yes, hopefully it will be useful,” said Bang Yos.
Dharma Pongrekun said that Bang Yos provided all the knowledge in building the city of Jakarta.
“Earlier we talked quite a lot, almost 1.5 hours. Starting from arranging the city so that Jakarta takes into account 13 rivers and integrated public transportation modes to minimize congestion,” he said.
