A new committee of Dhaka Metropolitan South of ‘Bangabandhu Ain Chhatra Parishad’, the largest organization of law students across the country, has been formed. Kazi Mamunur Rahman (Mahim), former co-editor of Bangladesh Chhatra League, former vice-president of Dhaka Metropolitan South Chhatra League and former general secretary of Central Law College, Kazi Mamunur Rahman (Mahim) was elected as president and executive member of Bangladesh Jubo Mahila League as general secretary, vice-president of Central Law College. And Sanjida Jahan, former member of convening committee of Eden College Chhatra League.

On Thursday (29 February) the decision of the central meeting of the organization, Bangabandhu Ain Chhatra Parishad’s Central Executive Council President Md. Selimur Rahman (Selim) and general secretary. Moshiur Rahman Mollah (Moshiur) gave approval to the partial committee.

This committee has been approved for the next two years. The leaders of the newly formed committee said that we are committed to implement the indestructible ideals of Bangabandhu in the legal arena and stop the ghost of BNP-Jamaat-Shibir. We will work to play a leading role in the construction of Sonar Bangla, the dreamer of Digital Bangladesh, the visionary of Smart Bangladesh, the leader of humanity, Sheikh Hasina.

It should be noted that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was a law student. In 1949, he was expelled from Dhaka University for speaking rationally and strongly supporting the just demands of Class IV employees of Dhaka University. In order to remind the law students of that day with special significance, under the patronage and advice of Sheikh Hasina, the resistance fighter of the post-75 difficult times, the former joint convener of Bangladesh Chhatra League, the senior lawyer of the Supreme Court, Advocate Md. Laekuzzaman Molla founded the organization on March 29, 1991 in a historical context.

‘Bangabandhu Ain Chhatra Parishad’ has been working tirelessly since its inception to establish the ideals of Bangabandhu by holding the slogans of education, peace, discipline and justice. ‘Bangabandhu Ain Chhatra Parishad’ is the only organisation, which first protested demanding the withdrawal of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s order to cancel the studentship of Dhaka University and after 61 years Dhaka University authorities revoked the expulsion order in 2010.
