The ban on free entry of journalists to Bangladesh Bank has been lifted. As a result, from now on, there was no obstacle for journalists to enter the central bank and collect information.

Deputy Governor Saidur Rahman while talking to reporters on Tuesday (August 6) said that although there were some restrictions on entry for a few days, now there is no problem for journalists to enter the central bank.

Addressing the journalists, he said, I hope you don’t do news that causes economic damage to the country. However, you must do news that is good for the country.

He said, we are waiting for the new government. Due to certain restrictions we are unable to disclose information on various irregularities. However, now we will highlight everything. You don’t need to come, we will deliver to you.

It should be noted that the governor had banned the free entry of journalists to the central bank from March this year. After that, various journalist organizations, economic organizations condemned the ban on journalists. At the same time, journalists repeatedly called for the lifting of the ban. Finally, the ban on free access of journalists to the central bank has been lifted.
