He said this in response to questions from reporters after a meeting with the US delegation at Rashtriya Guest House Padma on Sunday (September 15).

He said, we have talked with the US delegation today. Our main discussions were with their Treasury Department and USAID. Especially the financial reform, the cooperation that is needed in the financial sector. Second in trade, we discussed export diversification and trade in different technical assistance or market exploration. We will go ahead with the action plan, they have assured cooperation in that regard.

Regarding the development cooperation agreement, the financial advisor said, it is an addition of 200 million to the previous agreement. It is added to what was there before. That means they will pay more money.

When asked whether he has asked for help in returning the smuggled money, he said, all these have been discussed. We will discuss in detail later.

When asked if there was any discussion about tax reform, he said, all discussions have taken place.
