Bangladesh cricketer Shahidul Islam has been banned by the ICC for 10 months for doping.

Shahidul Islam is a 27-year-old player from Bangladesh. Shahidul, a right-arm fast bowler, has played only one T20I for Bangladesh.

He took the wicket of Mohammad Rizwan in one T20 against Pakistan. Bangladesh lost 0-3 to Pakistan in that particular series.

Shahidul Islam, who played only one T20 match for Bangladesh, was caught in the doping scandal. A doping complaint was filed against him on May 28. It was confirmed that he had taken clomiphene, which is banned by the ICC.
