Alappuzha ∙ The police will collect the bank account details of M. Jishamol, an officer in charge of agriculture, who was arrested in the fake note case. The police hope to get clues related to the fake note transaction from the bank records.

It is also being investigated if they are related to the fake currency transactions found in Charummoot and Kayamkulam recently. The fake notes handed over by Jisha will be sent to the forensic laboratory to check if they are similar to the fake notes from Charummut and Kayamkulam.

The police said that they have not been able to find the source of the counterfeit notes, but they started investigating the man who went on the run when Jisha was caught. They were the ones who gave false information during the interrogation. The investigation also revealed that the other information given by Jisha was wrong. It is known that the investigation of the special squad of the crime branch, which investigates cases of counterfeit notes, will be conducted in continuation of the South Police’s investigation in the case.

While the police were trying to take Jisha into custody and interrogate them further, they were remanded to the mental health center in Perurkada, Thiruvananthapuram, but it backfired. The court ordered that Jisha be hospitalized because she had sought treatment for mental illness. The hospital authorities informed that their treatment has started.
