Bank customers have reduced card transactions

The latest data from Bangladesh Bank showed that total card-based local currency transactions fell by Tk 230.7 crore or 0.6% to Tk 38,906.7 crore in February compared to Tk 39,137.4 crore in January. On the other hand, card-based foreign exchange transactions fell by 10.12% to Tk 62.8 crore in February to Tk 557.5 crore.
