But now under the new rule, if something is stolen from a bank locker, the customer must be compensated 100 times more than the locker rent on behalf of the bank concerned. Under the new rules, banks have the right to purchase locker rent for a maximum of three years. If the rent of your locker is Rs.2000, the bank will not charge you more than Rs.6000 except for other maintenance charges.

CCTV camera!
It is no longer necessary to monitor those coming into the locker room through CCTV. In addition, data from up to 180 days of CCTV footage must be stored. In case of theft or security breach it can be investigated by the police through CCTV footage.
