This support includes various initiatives, ranging from financial assistance, providing facilities, to training for athletes and sports organizations in the country.
Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan Junaidi said that as a development agent, Bank Mandiri’s role is very important to help Indonesian sports not only shine domestically, but also on the international stage through a series of achievements.
“Bank Mandiri has supported more than 100 national sports activities. “The five biggest supports are for the sports activities of Football, Golf, MotoGP as well as Car Racing, Basketball and Volleyball,” said Darmawan in his official statement, Sunday (29/9).
In the field of football, Bank Mandiri is the presenting partner for the Indonesian national football team when it competes in world-class leagues.
This collaboration will last for three years and will be evaluated annually.
Previously, the Indonesian national football team managed to achieve brilliant achievements, such as qualifying for the third round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, entering the top 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup, and winning the 2024 AFF U19 cup.
