For the tenth consecutive year, Bankinter has been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, which identifies the companies that best manage their ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) aspects in the world. Specifically, Bankinter has achieved recognition for its sustainability management by once again appearing as a reference entity in S&P Global’s “Sustainability Yearbook 2024”.

Since last year, the methodology has been revised to reflect exclusion criteria, allowing the Yearbook’s approach to be further aligned with that used to select companies in the ESG Indices S&P Globals.

To prepare the Sustainability Yearbook 2024, S&P has analyzed the economic, environmental and social matters of a total of 9,400 companies in the world, from 61 sectors, finally made up of 759 companies with the highest scores that are present this year.

Bankinter has a prominent position in sustainability in the financial field. For six years he has been listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index Worldthe index that groups together the companies with the best social, environmental and corporate governance performance in the world.

Bankinter has reinforced its commitment to sustainability management with the update of your Sustainability Policy of the Bankinter Group and with the launch of a new Plan for the period 2024-2026, which expands its scope to the entire Group and is characterized by its greater ambition in order to respond to the growing expectations of its interest groups.
