Banks will remain closed in all states on Saturday as it is the fourth Saturday of the month. As per the rules of the Reserve Bank, banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month as well as on Sundays, national and regional holidays. The next day is Sunday. In such a situation, banks across the country will remain closed for two days i.e. Saturday and Sunday. The next Monday is Krishna Janmashtami. On this day also, almost all government offices including banks will remain closed in many states.

According to the list of holidays of the Reserve Bank, all private and government banks will remain closed on Monday on the occasion of Janmashtami in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Odisha, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and Srinagar.
There will be no holiday in these states
On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, there will be no bank holiday in many states on Monday. These include Delhi, Tripura, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Nagaland and Goa.
Will be able to use digital banking
In the states where banks will be closed on Monday, banking customers will be able to use online and digital banking. They will also be able to transact through WhatsApp banking, SMS banking and mobile banking. If you use UPI, there will be no problem in this as well. In such a situation, there will be no impact on customers related to transactions if banks are closed on Monday.
