jpnn.comSERANG – The Banten Province General Election Commission (KPU) has opened registration for polling station organizing group (KPPS) officers for the 2024 Pilkada.
KPPS officer registration is open from September 17 to September 28, 2024.
Banten Province KPU member Ali Zaenal said that his party needed hundreds of thousands of KPPS officers for the upcoming regional elections.
“The total KPPS requirement is 120,582 throughout Banten Province, the most in Tangerang Regency,” said Zaenal to JPNN, Tuesday (17/9).
According to Zaenal, KPPS officers must meet several requirements, including being Indonesian citizens (WNI), high school graduates (SLTA), and a minimum age of 17 years.
“In addition, attach a certificate of physical and mental health and freedom from drug abuse,” he said.
Zaenal explained that the work period of the KPPS officers will last for one month from November 7 to December 8, 2024.
Meanwhile, the honorarium for KPPS officers, said Zaenal, ranges from IDR 850 to IDR 900 thousand.
