The uncertainty in Betar Jerusalem continued after it was clarified to them that the legal advisor of the Jerusalem municipality, Adv. Eli Malka, submitted an opinion in which he recommended not approving a guarantee for a loan requested by Barak Abramov.
The potential owner, who conditioned the purchase of Betar Jerusalem on this guarantee, among other things, told the club’s staff: “Without a guarantee from the municipality, I will not be able to be the owner.”
Betar Jerusalem is trying to maintain optimism. The CEO, Moni Brosh and the trustee on behalf of Moshe Hogg, Adv. Yitzhak Junger, are in talks with the budget control and the Jerusalem municipality and will try to create a pressure cooker on the municipality to help.
The municipality clarified to the sports channel that they intend to help every buyer of Betar Jerusalem, but are not willing to meet the condition set by Abramov, but in other ways.
