The president of the Principality of Asturias, the socialist Adrián Barbón, has assured that he is receiving “threats” along with “so many socialists” for his “ideas.” The socialist leader has insisted that “throughout our history, despite the fact that they tried, they did not silence this party nor will they succeed now.” In a message on his profile on the social network ‘X’, Barbón has echoed a series of concentrations that, he affirms, are being called in front of the main People’s Houses, including those in Asturias and the headquarters of the Federation Asturian Socialist.

“It is not elected with boos, or whistles, much less with attacks. It is elected by votes that translate into deputies,” he asserted.
