FC Barcelona will close its TV channel on June 30 to meet financial fair play expectations. 150 people will lose their jobs.

The club will not renew its contract with the telecommunications company Telefónica, which largely managed the channel founded in July 1999.

Barça’s decision to shut down its TV channel comes amid difficulties in coming to terms with Financial Fair Play in Spain.
