Arrive? Bernardo Silva (Reuters)

It’s been a long time since Barcelona experienced such a transfer window, but it seems that their shopping spree is not over yet. The Catalans have already started talks with Manchester City regarding Bernardo Silva, it was reported today (Saturday) at noon in the Catalan newspaper ‘Sport’. According to the publication, the leaders of the Blaugrana want to reduce the price of the transaction as much as possible and are sure that it can be closed. They build mainly on the desire of the Portuguese midfielder to leave and on Pep Guardiola who has already said that he will not stand in his way if the right offer comes.

A purchase that has already arrived at Barca is Robert Lewandowski, who wore the number 12 on his back in the defensive games and yesterday in his presentation, he showcased the number ‘9’ to over 50 thousand Camp Nou residents. At the press conference, president Juan Laforte explained that it was the club’s decision (“we thought it was the most appropriate”). The Spaniard also explained that the change was made in coordination with Memphis Depay, to whom the number belonged before, adding that the Dutch understood it perfectly.

In ‘Mundo Deportivo’ they reported that Memphis and his agent understand that the player is a foot and a half outside the team and did not cause problems. In addition, Lewandowski spoke yesterday morning with the Dutchman about the issue at the training complex and it does not appear that there were differences of opinion between the two regarding the situation.

Memphis itself continues to approach the move to Juventus and has already given the green light to the old lady’s offer. It is still unclear if his contract will be cancelled, or if he will extend his contract with the Catalans for another season and then go on loan with an obligation to buy.

Meanwhile, it seems that the registration problems of Barca’s new players are on the way to a solution. According to journalist Gerard Romero, all Barca players will be signed up next week, which means Bendovski, Rafinha, Jules Conde and the rest of the squad will be at Xavi’s disposal for the opening round of the Spanish league against Rayo Vallecano in a week’s time.
