Barcelona achieved its fifth consecutive victory today, Sunday, after defeating its counterpart Girona by four goals to one in the match that took place between them at Montilivi Stadium, in the fifth round of La Liga matches.
The first and second goals for Barcelona were scored by the young Spanish international player, Lamine Yamal (30th-37th minutes), and player Dani Olma added the third goal for Barcelona (46th minute), followed by Pere Gonzalez with the fourth goal (63rd minute).
Girona player Cristian Stuani reduced the difference by scoring his team’s only goal (79th minute) of the match.
Barcelona completed the match with ten players after their player Ferran Torres was sent off.
According to Opta statistics network, Lamine Yamal is the first player at the age of 17 years and 64 days to score a brace away from home for Barcelona.
