Barcelona SC visited Delfín SC this Saturday for the second date of the second stage of the Pro EC League, where they sought to enter a positive streak, after starting with a 2-0 win over Gualaceo in Guayaquil.
Back on the field, it was the opposite, BSC seemed disconnected, shy and with few collective ideas, against a Delfín that was upright and physically strong, putting Diego López’s team in trouble.
Javier Burrai was the figure of the first half, stopping goal shots from the Manabita team, but individual resistance was not enough.
At minute 43 of the first half, a corner kick left a deflection by Luca Sosa who was unable to clear the ball, allowing the rebound to go to Nicolás Goitea who pushed the ball into the back of the net.
