Following the suspension on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 of the general and indefinite strike launched on Monday, February 26, 2024 and to follow up on the negotiations started on Monday, February 12, 2024 on the points included in the strike notice of February 6, 2024, the Movement Syndical Guinéen (MSG), was invited this Monday, March 4, 2024 to another negotiation session at the National Council for Social Dialogue (CNDS).
This meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the SPPG, Sekou Jamal Pendessa, recently released from prison.
This other meeting which is currently being held at the headquarters of this structure located at the Ministerial City, in Landréah near the CUBA Embassy, saw the presence of several Guinean trade unionists.
Will the said meeting called by the president of the National Council for Social Dialogue, Dr Alia Camara, allow the different actors to move towards a compromise in accordance with the points of demand? Let’s wait and see.
