The opening of the exhibition of a great photojournalist will be the highlight of the first day of a Lungomare di libri, starting today with several talks. A double appointment will follow (at 9 pm), again in the art gallery, where the exhibition “Reading an art” was set up with a selection of paintings on the theme.

The first is reserved for the publishers of the region: from Antonello Bellomo of Wip to Giuseppe Goffredo of Poeisis, a reality of Alberobello that has in its catalog Italian and foreign writers attentive to Mediterranean issues, twenty-seven are present at “Lungomare di libri” thanks to the collaboration of ‘Apulian Publishers Association. The second appointment, however, reserved for authors Alfredo De Giovanni, Patrizia Gesuita, Augusto Ressa and Chicca Maralfa, the author for Les Flanuers of the noir “The secret of Mr. Willer”. The queen of the detective story Gabriella Genisi, who tonight (8.30 pm), on the Terrace of the Fortino di Sant’Antonio, tells about his creature Lolita Lobosco, the sexy commissioner protagonist of numerous novels recently transposed into a successful TV series. While the public prosecutor Emma Bonsanti, a character born from the pen of Aldo Pagano, who the public will meet immediately after, has not yet come off the paper. Many guests (almost all from Puglia) expected on Saturday and Sunday, when the book market on the Wall in via Venezia and the children’s reading village at the Fortino will also be active from 6 to 11.30 pm (from 6 pm).
