A new concept store combining a water bar and a beauty shop is introduced.
American luxury brand Barneys New York’s beauty and wellness brand, ‘Barneys New York Beauty,’ opened a new store at Lotte Department Store Gimpo Airport on the 20th.
Barneys New York, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year, is a brand that operates three categories: beauty, wellness, and water in the skincare zone of department stores. It is characterized by showing three categories in one store in order to practice the brand philosophy that the most important thing in terms of self-care is health, and beauty is a part of it.
A brand representative said, “Barneys New York Beauty is proposing a new luxury lifestyle through products in three categories: beauty, wellness, and water.” The representative added, “We are creating a new beauty trend that focuses on fundamental inner change and healthy beauty by presenting products that contain the brand’s unique truth using pure and clean ingredients obtained from around the world.”
Barneys New York Beauty plans to provide customers with a richer experience by setting up a special water experience space along with new wellness products to be released in the future. The water sold at Barneys New York Beauty consists of two types of Northern Lights and Furesdal Natural Water, and is characterized by containing pure water from Norway, so that infants and children can drink it as well.
Additionally, to prevent the ingestion of microplastics and pursue sustainability, we are replacing plastic with glass bottles symbolizing the Northern Lights produced in Slovenia and eco-friendly paper packaging.
To celebrate the opening of the store, Barneys New York Beauty Lotte Department Store Gimpo Airport Branch is holding a promotion where customers who visit the store and purchase products will receive the actual product and samples.
