(24News) Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar has issued a response to the notification of cancellation of party membership of Sher Afzal Marwat.
Barrister Gohar, chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, has said that he is not aware of the cancellation of party membership of Sher Afzal Marwat, he will meet the founder of PTI and will put the whole situation before Imran Khan. As for who is issuing instructions and who is taking decisions, it has not been brought to my knowledge that founder PTI has issued any such instructions.
He said that how the membership of Sher Afzal Marwat was terminated when no committee even called him, I will meet Imran Khan today and return this notification, Ali Sher Afzal Marwat is a member of our party and the founder. They are loyal to PTI.
It should be noted that PTI terminated Sher Afzal Marwat’s primary party membership and demanded him to resign from the National Assembly as well.
PTI Additional General Secretary Firdous Shamim Naqvi had issued a notification saying that PTI has decided to terminate the basic party membership of Sher Afzal Marwat for serious violations.
This notification of termination of membership was also shared by PTI from the official account, while the core committee members also confirmed the cancellation of membership of Sher Afzal Marwat. In the core committee meeting, it was decided to expel Sher Afzal Marwat.
