Bars and restaurants in Paris: the streets that could be occupied by terraces

by time news

Streets temporarily returned to pedestrians, so that cafes and restaurants can set up there — for free! — terraces. This is the operation launched by the city of Paris, from Tuesday June 2 and until Wednesday September 30. Objective: to recreate the link between the inhabitants, take advantage of the sunny days and boost the turnover of the 18,000 bars, cafes and restaurants in the capital, which were put to the test during the confinement period. Concretely, cafetiers and restaurateurs will be able to install – or enlarge if they already have one – their terraces on sidewalks or parking spaces.
