Blessed be the truth. At the age of 99, the children’s author Hannah Horn, author of the book “Hello Hello Dad,” and about ten other children’s books that became bestsellers, passed away.

Horn was born in the United States in 1922 and her family immigrated to Israel when she was 10 and the family settled in Tel Aviv. She was one of the founders of Kibbutz Maagan Michael, and after a mission in the United States, returned to Israel and lived in Kfar Shmaryahu and Hod Hasharon. She ran a kindergarten and specialized in special education.

The father’s book Hello Hello Dad authored together with her sister Bracha Feldman who was responsible for the illustrations. After about forty years, she wrote a sequel called ‘Hello Hello Mom’ and also ‘Hello Hello Grandma’.

She was buried in the cemetery in Kfar Shmaryahu.
