Baruch Dayan the truth. After a long battle with a serious illness, Esther Peron, former deputy mayor of Bat Yam and mother of former minister Rabbi Shay Peron, passed away.
She was the oldest member of the council in the city of Bat Yam and over the years held the education portfolio. The council says that it brought the city to wonderful achievements.
A council member paid tribute to her: “She is a glimpse of the rare material of a dedicated and valuable public representative. Entire generations in the city cherish her work. A very sad evening in the city of Bat Yam.”
Her funeral will take place tomorrow at the cemetery in Holon
