Bashundhara Cement and renowned construction company Abdul Monem Limited have signed an agreement for the exclusive supply of Bashundhara Cement for the construction of SASEC-II, Wicare and STRIP projects. The agreement was signed on Saturday.
KM Zahid Uddin, Deputy Managing Director, Cement Sector, Bashundhara Group, and ASM Moinuddin Monem, Managing Director, Abdul Monem Limited, signed the agreement at a reputed hotel in the city.
The agreement was signed by IRKM Salahuddin Biswas-Deputy General Manager (Cement Sector) and General Manager (GM-Coordination) of the organization. Colonel (Retd.) Md. Alamgir Kabir.
Through the agreement, Bashundhara Cement will exclusively supply more than 3 lakh metric tonnes of cement for the construction of SASEC-II, Wicare and STRIP projects. Bashundhara Cement is the largest and most advanced VRM (VRM) technology in the country and the deal is executed subject to verification of Bashundhara Cement Factory, production capacity, supply chain, and overall quality assurance.
On behalf of Bashundhara Group, Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman – Senior Deputy Managing Director, Mohammad Kamrul Hasan – Chief Financial Officer, Shah Jamal Shikdar – Chief Sales Officer (Cement Sector), Imran Bin Ferdous – Head of HR & Admin, were also present on the occasion. Mohammad Alauddin-Head of Marketing, and other officials.
Notably, significant use of Bashundhara cement in other national mega projects such as: Padma Bridge, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, Yamuna Rail Bridge, Padma Rail Link, Lebukhali Bridge, Metrorail, First Dhaka Elevated Expressway and other projects and contribution to the infrastructure construction of Bangladesh, proves the superiority of Bashundhara Cement. .
