Bassols Energia lights up the Empordà Golf

Bassols Energya leader in sustainable energy solutions, has announced the successful completion of its project of Self-consumption Photovoltaic Plant (PPA) in the prestigious Empordà Golfsituated at Torroella de Montgrí. With an installed capacity of 240 quilowatts pic (kWp), this project marks a significant milestone in the search for sustainability and the reduction of the carbon footprint in the golf industry.

Empordà Golf, recognized for its commitment to environmental sustainability and excellence in sport, has taken an important step to reduce its carbon footprint by partnering with Bassols Energia in this emblematic project

For this project, Bassols Energia has counted on the company Keptona company specializing in photovoltaic solar energy solutions and installations that designs and installs solar energy systems under the highest quality standards.

The parking area has also been conditioned for the installation of pergolas to optimize production and offer an architectural integration of the solution.

By installing the canopies with solar panels in the outdoor parking lothas sought to offer two solutions in the same installation: protect vehicles from solar radiation and at the same time power three chargers for electric vehicles with 100% renewable energy.

So much so, that the design of the photovoltaic field has been implemented in the south-facing pergolas, achieving in this way that the entire photovoltaic field can make the pergolas coplanar while maintaining their same inclination and in this way reducing the load on the cover itself and the straps thereof.
