The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, at a meeting on organizing the work of territorial investigative bodies, ordered the creation of investigative groups to “suppress extremist and terrorist manifestations, uncoordinated protest actions and provocations” and other actions “aimed at destabilizing the situation” in Russia against the background of the military operation in Ukraine .

Separately, Mr. Bastrykin instructed to control anti-war statements and “violating public order, conducting unauthorized actions” via the Internet, instant messengers and social networks.

At the same meeting, Alexander Bastrykin instructed to collect evidence of the “genocide” of the population of the DPR and LPR of the “military and political leadership of Ukraine”, nationalists and “other persons” against the inhabitants of Ukraine.

Also, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin promised to stop “attempts to organize street riots.” In addition, according to him, business representatives who did not speak out against the military operation in Ukraine are allegedly threatened with reprisal and murder.

“I must tell you that we will do everything necessary – we will ensure the normal functioning of the city and protect Muscovites. I ask you not to succumb to the calls of provocateurs. They are aimed at undermining the management of the city and creating an atmosphere of chaos, which we recently observed in the same Kazakhstan,” said the mayor of Moscow.

Since February 24, Russia has been conducting a military special operation in Ukraine on the orders of President Vladimir Putin. During the six days of the operation, anti-war actions take place in Russia.
